Gw barusan dapet kabar katanya di Daytona (tempatnya yang mana gw lupa nanyain hehehehehehe) ada yang jual Battlax dengan ukuran yg 120/80-17 dan 100/80-17. Tapi kondisinya gak tau....... Udah uzur ato baru......

ada Battlax BT39 ama BT45.....size jg ada koq...tanya ajah ma "koh" nya....harga jg tergolong ekonomis,halaaahhh hehehe.....

1. Cek body/fairing, apakah ada yg lecet...
2. Dicoba electric starternya bbrp kali... kalo hidup, aki bagus...
3. Periksa apakah jerigen radiator coolant dibelakang... ada yg netes/bocor gak?

gw rasa itu aja sih... kalo ada yg aneh... jangan ragu tanyakan ke yg antar motor & dituliskan di tanda terima yg mereka bawa...!!

Thermo CBR sekitar 1/2 sampe 3/4 garis masih dianggap normal kok. Biasanya new owners pasti panik deh kalo ngeliat thermo-nya...! hehe...(elo salah satu contohnya kan?) xixixi...

CBR bukannya gak bisa jalan pelan....(lah gw aja sering bawa anak2 gw naik motor...masa mo ngebut?) :) tapi tentunya tergantung kondisi jalanan juga. Kalo lagi macet, hawa panas dari mobil2 disekitar motor juga mempengaruhi juga.

BTW, jangan lupa selalu cek jerigen radiator coolant di dekat shock belakang. Hal2 mengenai Radiator CBR sudah pernah dibahas di forum cbr club --> http://www.cbrclub.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=64

GYAHAHAHAHAHA...buset lagi dah udh dibales...padahal tadi gw baru 2nd posting di forum CBR...eeeh..malah udh dibales...thx ya om...
wah lega deh rasanya kalo masih wajar mah...soalnya bokap gw udh nakut2in, katanya kalo sampe termometernya ke merah, mesin motor bisa rusak..n harus turun mesin...serem gitu loh turun mesin...hauhauhauha....

gw coba ngejawab bbrp pertanyaan bro2 diatas...

Gw pernah make knalpot racing merk SpeedFire buat Satria FU150, ciri2nya make CARBON... Kalo gw perhatiin sama aj ama knalpot racing laennya, bedanya knalpot gw ini dilapisin lembaran KARBON asli... fungsinya bg gw:
1. Gaya :D:D:D
2. ngeredam panas, kl kesenggol kulit kaki gak bakal melepuh/ kepanasan
3. knalpot jd lbh cepet adem
4. ... laennya gw gak tau.. :D:D

nngggg....memangnya tau karbon yg asli sama yg ga ky gimana?? trus karbon kalo dipegang/diraba gitu rasanya gmn? kasar atau lembut gitu..??

Karbon itu kl gak salah bahannya dr serat kaca kan?, diknalpot gw terasa licin permukaan luarnya, tp permukaan dalamnya kasar dan agak berserat CMIIW...

Hmm mau lurusin sedikit mengenai "CARBON FIBER"....

Carbon Fiber itu berbeda dgn serat kaca/fiber glass yg biasa buat bodi2 motor modifikasi itu.

Carbon Fiber adalah material dry carbon yg biasanya sudah berupa rajutan (spt tikar) dan juga kaku. Material ini harganya sangat mahal (biasanya merek DuPont).
Karakter material carbon fiber ini adalah : kuat, tahan panas, insulator dan enteng/lightweight. Makanya digunakan di dalam pembuatan pesawat terbang, roket, mobil/motor balap dll...

Untuk pembuatan bodi mobil/motor, aksesoris, helm, knalpot dll.... biasanya digunakan pengeras seperti resin. Hasilnya menjadi keras dan mengkilap/glossy.

Tapi bisa juga dibikin 1/2 keras alias masih flexible.... biasanya dipakai buat protektor di sarung tangan atau jaket.

Setau gw, carbon fiber itu gak ada yg "palsu"...
ada juga "carbon look"... alias "menyerupai carbon". ya memang kasarnya "carbon palsu" hahhaa....
Biasanya berupa sticker atau hydro decal.
Sticker banyak yg jual kok...
Kalo hydro decal... selain nggak dijual ketengan... proses-nya juga rumit. Harus dgn direndam dan proses vacuum.

Oiya yang terakhir adalah carbon yg dikombinasi dengan kevlar... ya namanya "Carbon Kevlar".
Harganya lebih mahal lagi... tapi kevlar ini berkarakteristik lebih tahan gesekan atau friction.
Panas akibat friction juga bisa diredam lebih baik.
Makanya protector di jaket2 pembalap, biasanya menggunakan "carbon kevlar"..... jadi kalo jatuh ngeglosor... bisa tahan panas :D

Ya segitu doang lah pengetahuan gw ttg carbon :D

Tergantung finishing-nya aja bro... carbon fiber bisa dibuat lembut/licin/glossy maupun kasar/doff/textured.

Seperti yg sudah gw jelaskan diatas.... carbon fiber dan fiber glass adalah berbeda.
Licin diluar adalah finishing-nya aja yg menggunakan resin. Sedangkan bagian dalamnya, karena memang tidak terlihat... ya tetap dibikin kasar...

btw...

mao nanya lagi nih... ada ga sih knalpot yang karakterisitik suaranya lebih halus (ga sebrisik.red) daripada knalpot original pabrikan? yang suaranya agak lebih low bass kayak VROOOOMMMMM... gitu deh *niruin suara knalpot motor idaman padahal ga ada mirip2nya sama sekali* soalnya saya lebih suka motor yang kalem dan ga bersuara tapi performanya oke
