Setelah browsing kesana kemari, ketemulah mesin paling modern 2000 cc DOHC VVTi yg output powernya setara dng mesin jadul SS1 hasil modifan bengkel EBA :

ini Pug 306 yg udah engine swap pake mesin Pug 2000cc DOHC 16v, berhasil jadi juara 1 balap ETCC (European Touring Car Championship) kelas 2000 cc DOHC Master, di Sentul 27 April kmaren :

Saya pernah suka banget sama 306 apalagi yang Le Mans yah.. Kereeenn
Eh beberapa bulan lalu Staf saya malah beli ini Pug 306 hahaha...
Akhirnya jadi deh saya ngerasain juga naik 306..

Padahal tu' anak baru 4 bulan kerja di saya..

sejujurnya, sy pribadi enggak ingin merekomen Pug 306 kepada siapapun. Body dan suspensi sih oke, tapi mesin std-nya menyimpan potensi masalah, jika radiatornya diisi dng air sembarangan (air pdam, air tanah, air mineral) karena bisa menyebabkan cyl block yg berbahan almunium menjadi kropos ....

Pilihan yg lebih baik adalah Pug 405 STi th 95/96/97, atau 306 kemudian swap engine ke XU10 (mesin std 405 STi)

Pug 306 dng mesin XU10 (mesin std 405 STi), kalok di Eropa disebut 306 XSi. Karena 306 XSi di Indonesia tidak dikenal, maka mobil saya mungkin lebih pas disebut "306 N5 STi" hehehehe.....

Utk sementara, upgrade mesin XU10 sy anggap sudah cukup, dan berikutnya adalah menunggu perangkat rear disc brake copotan (import) dari 306 XSi

(performa mesin udah lumayan memuaskan, performa pengereman masih harus di upgrade)

intinya : sy adalah pengguna N5 yg sangat puas dan menikmati performa mobil dng mesin XU10. Baik utk daily use, turing jauh, ataupun sesekali gaspol di trek Sentul, samasekali enggak mengewakan !! Kalok ada yg berminat sm mobil sy, boleh aja jika mau menukarnya dng dana di atas 90 jutaan (Anda akan memiliki N5 kentjang, tanpa harus melakukan serangkaian modif yg makan waktu dan proses panjang). Tapi sy tidak dalam posisi "menjual karna butuh uang".. sy sendiri yakin masih akan menikmati pake N5 STi ini minimal sampai 3-5 taun kedepan ...

Oom Jesskoneng, itu mobil Pug yg dipakai mbalat di SeNtul sama dengan punya oom yg di garasi ? Koq beda warnanya ?
Btw, di haLaman awal disebut ganti ATF oil..apakah emang transmisi SSI itu matic ?

mobil sy warna silver dng strip keemasan, plat no. B-306-TO dan di Sentul ikut drag race seri 1 nasional (16,964 dtk), dan beberapa kali ikut sesi latian team balap EBA ETCC ... Memang di antara mobil2 balap ETCC, ada beberapa N5 dari team EBA. Tapi mobil sy enggak ikut balap ETCC, cuma ikut beberapa kali latian team di Sentul aja, karna memang bengkel EBA yg membangun mesin mobil saya, dan mungkin boss EBA (om Hadi Taruna) kesian ngeliat sy yg sangat bersemangat merasakan lintasan Sentul, walaupun sudah enggak muda lagi, jadi dibolehkan ikut latian aja, tapi enggak bole ikut balap benernya

ATF mungkin dipake utk pelumasan power steering ya.. mobil sy manual

foto2 itu cuma menunjukkan aja, ada beberapa mobil yg basisnya 306 N5 (mesin udah ganti XU10 ada yg 8v dan ada pula yg 16v) yg ikut balap ETCC di Sentul... tidak harus mobil sy sendiri ....

yg jelas, N5 yg ikut balap ETCC enggak ada yg pake mesin std xu7... knapa, karna regulasinya adalah max 2000cc, jadi kalok pake mesin std N3/N5 ya kedodoran, wong cuma 1800 cc (110 hp).

Mengganti mesin std 306 XU7 dng mesin XU10 sudah sangat sering dilakukan oleh bengkel EBA yg punya team balap ETCC itu. Mau 8v atau 16v gak ada masalah, dudukan mesinnya sama aja dng mesin std 306. Tinggal plug n plek aja

Btw, soal engine swapping, apa pengaruhnya ama legalitas,,,risiko kena Operasi Zebra (ketahuan kita generasi jadoel he he he ) di jalanan atau perpanjangan STNK atau kalau mau dijual lagi gimana ?

contohnya barusan ini, sy mengurus mutasi BPKB sekaligus perpanjangan STNK, sekaligus balik nama sekaligus minta plat nomor dng nomor pilihan, diuruskan oleh seseorang yg memang profesinya membantu pengurusan legalitas kendaraan bermotor. Saat harus melakukan esek2 no. mesin/rangka, dia lakukan sendiri langsung dari blok mesin lama yg saya simpan di rumah. Kalok suatu saat mobil dijual, ya sekalian sama blok mesin yg lama juga. Operasi Zebra kan cek stnk & sim, mosok sampai memeriksa no. mesin ? kira2 apa ya tujuan alasan merazia dan memeriksa no. mesin pada cyl block kendaraan tuwa th 1999 ?

Harga mesin copotan utuh XU10 yg 8v dan 16v sekarang kisaran brp ya? Kalau swap dari 8v ke 16v, apa mesti ganti ECU nya juga?

XU10 yg 8v sekitar 8-9,5 jutaan. Yg 16v sy kurang ngeh, bisa ditanyakan ke om Hadi Taruna di EBA Lebak Bulus yg sering beli utk mobil2 balapnya. ECU bisa di remap aja (eprom diganti dng yg baru dan diisi baru), kebetulan om Hadi Taruna ahlinya ...

Progress update :
kmaren baru pasang glondongan batang torsi blakang yg pake disc brake ex limbah Singapura, dan karna cakramnya udah aus, beli baru via eBay... dan kemudian ganti seluruh exhaust system setelah header (down pipe, resonator, pipa ke blakang dan muffler).

sekarang lagi nyari2 :
- shock absorber (SA) yg pas utk dipake harian dan sesekali nyentul. Mungkin om2 ada yg punya info merk aftermarket (Bilstein/Koni/Monroe), dimana belinya dan brapa harganya ?
- sepasang ban depan yg grip-nya excellent utk di Sentul

seminggu y.l. timbul suara klotak2 pas mesin terbebani maksimum dalam rpm rendah ... usut punya usut, ternyata salah satu baut engine mounting terlepas/terputus dari penguncinya, sehingga hanya karet mounting yg menahan getaran mesin... solusinya : baut dilas disatukan kembali dng penguncinya. Moga tahan lama... exhaust system juga dibenahi total : penggantian semua pipa2 setelah header, resonator baru (yg lama penyok sampai dalemannya, kena polisi tidur) dan muffler yg lebih los ...

selanjutnya nyari2 ban depan dan shock absorber yg lebih stiff

om jes, bukannya peug bikin SA sendiri ya? gak pernah pake merk lain.. mohon pencerahan

om jes, bukannya peug bikin SA sendiri ya? gak pernah pake merk lain.. mohon pencerahan
SA Peugeot mg bkin sendiri, tp ada yg aftermarket jg merek monroe. Tp blm pernah pake soalny blm pernah ganti hehehe..

Pug memang bikin SA sendiri... masalahnya : 306 sy pake mesin lebih berat dari std-nya, dan kadang dipake utk latihan/balap di Sentul... butuh SA yg lebih stiff dari std-nya

@ montirangin, ya bisa lah... yang cyl. head-nya almunium bukan cuma 306 saja pakdhe, semua mobil keluaran tahun sekarang nggak ada yang cyl. head-nya besi kaya jeep willys.
