halo apa kabar men temen, rekan2 dan para suhu sori nih baru buat review lagi,
1. PR dari bro imsus2c tentang nikasil, setelah ane tanya sama pak montir emang bener untuk E39 taun2 dibawah 2000an kebanyakan bloknya dr bahan nikasil dan menurut beliau juga bbm harus kudu pake minimal pertamax. tp ga usah jadi takut dan kuatir menurut beliau asal kitanya ga nakal ga bakalan terjadi apa2 mengingat ni mesin mobil termasuk mesin badak, dan kejadian turun meain gara2 nikasil jarang bgt
2. setelah dicek alhamdulillah mobil ane sehat walafiat dari semuanya ane cuma ganti kampas rem aja,
3. soal ketersediaan sparepart kayanya ga terlalu susah dan harga msh terjangkau terbukti beberapa jam sambil nunggu mobil dikerjain ane nguping sana sini ternyata sprepart ada yg kw nya juga dan harga kw hmpr 1/2 nya dari harga yg ori, kw nya pun juga buatan jerman, lumayanlah buat ganti2 yang ga terlalu riskan bisalah dijadiin solusi klo dompet lg tiris
bahkan pak montirnya bilang barang2 copotanya juga byk beredar

kesimpulan: jangan takut beli dan mlihara bmw, ane jd inget wkt itu ada yg bilang jaman2nya dikomporin beli bmw, bahwa org yg bilang bmw perawatannya mahal dan susah cuma ada 3 kemungkinan
1. tu org ga pernah mlihara bmw
2. tu org apes dapet brg jelek jd cm capek bolak balik ke bengkel doang
3. tu org dapet bengkel yg salah, jd ketipu trus ama tu bengkel

ok sekian dlu review dr ane nanti klo ada tambahan ane info lg, sori reviewnya berantakan maklum sambil ngantuk2 nih buat reviewnya

Saran saya itu bungkus setirnya dicopot aja om raja, kaya angkot jadinya hehe...kalo setir udah mengelupas, dikulitin lagi aja - gampang kok. Saran satu lagi pake karpet hitam - yg sama tahan lumpurnya, tapi gak plastik bening mengkilat. Sayang mobil mewah ada kilau plastik begitu...

Saran aja lho :D

waktu cek nikasil issue ini, bagian mana aja yg di cek oom? trus cara pengecekan nya gimana utk menyimpulkan bahwa bagian itu tidak bermasalah?
sama satu lagi, pertanyaan tradisionil............. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
konsumsi bbm berapa utk dalkot-lukot dan kombinasi, serta dikasi RON berapa?

nah tu dia oom ane jg sempet tanya sama pak montirnya, "tau dr mana lu bhw mobil gua ga kena nikasil problem" sambil nyalain mesin dgn enteng dia ngejawab " gmpang aja pak nyiriinnya, nih pak mesin bapak ga geter (trus dia nunjuk ke knalpot) tuh ini jg ga ngebul pak" atas dasar itu dia menyimpulkan bhw mobil ane bebas dr problem itu, krn ane awam dan pak montirnya lbh pengalaman ane sih iya2 aja hehehe.. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: mgkn dr rekan2 disini ada yg bs kasih masukan tentang pengecekan problem ini biar lebih yakin?

klo fc yg ane rasain sih kira2 sekitar 1:5 - 1:6, udh sebulan pake ni mobil baru 2 kali ane isi pertamax selebihnya selalu isi pake shell super

padahal saya kira minimal bakal test kompresi, soal nya khan nikasil ini utk dinding silinder...........jadi mesti nya sih minimal cek kompresi mesin cmiiw :e-think: :e-think:

What are the symptoms of cylinder bore wear?

Initially uneven idle caused by “leak-down”, i.e. lack of effective sealing (essentially loss of compression) in one or more cylinders. This will result in a rough idle. A gentle rock at idle is acceptable, however excessive movement at idle is the first symptom of cylinder bore wear. If you leave the car at idle with all ancillaries switched off, and you open the door wide and watch the top edge of the door, if it is moving significantly and unevenly you may well have cylinder bore wear.

If you take the vehicle to BMW they can plug it into the computer and check the idle quality. In most cases a simple (30 minutes long) test is sufficient to indicate whether the car is suffering – in very advanced cases it will take far less time than this. To be absolutely sure, though, BMW need to run a “leak down” test, which tests whether the leak down past the piston is within acceptable limits. This is the real proof. Even if the car is within warranty you will probably be asked to pay for the tests – but only if it passes! If the car is out of warranty, you will have to pay for the tests and this will not be refunded. The tests cost around £100.

In severe cases, the loss of compression is so bad that the engine loses power. Furthermore oil consumption increases dramatically as oil is sucked up the side of the leaky pistons. In really severe cases, the compression decrease is so severe the car will not start in cold weather.

Experience indicates that inflicted 6-cylinder cars display more severe symptoms than inflicted V8s. I have never known a V8 not start, nor use large quantities of oil due to the Nikasil problem, but I have seen or heard of both in the 6-cylinder engine.

kemungkinan aja lho...
turun mesin jarang secara mungkin ongkosnya bakal luar biasa, jadi bisa aja langsung dijual tanpa turun mesin dulu :ungg:

yup.........sy juga baca bagian itu meneer, jadi semesti nya mereka (beres) melakukan test ini dengan sebuah alat utk dicolokin ke obd utk test idle quality, tapi klo biaya nya mahal begitu rasa nya a simple compression test will do khan? cmiiw
sementara utk pengecekan dengan cara visual imho kurang cocok dilakukan sekaliber beres lah...............itu hanya sekedar test singkat utk user aja, dan belum tentu jg indra setiap orang sama dalam hal ini :ungg:

Kayanya emang masalah nikasil ini idlenya jadi bergetar. Dan mobilnya udah umur 10 tahunan - kalo kena masalah Nikasil dan gak bergetar di umur segini sih...udah aman kali ya. Lain kalo umur masih 3 thn, mungkin efeknya belum nongol. Kalo udah 10 tahunan mah...udah badak itu mesin.
