lebih mantaffff lagi kalo swap lengkap pake 3sgte :)
cuma kalo itu kudu swap satu gelondong, karena piston 3sgte beda dengan 3sfe ataupun 3sge

wah kalo cerita swap ke 3SGE sih pengen banget apalagi swap ke 3SGTE wuihh lebih pengen lagi hehe
namun apa daya, tak ada duidnya :D
ternyata gak bisa cuman sekedar ganti head yah kaya ferio pake head city Z.
Seandainya cuman headnya doang gak efek banget yah?

setau gue 3S-FE bisa aja kok diganti headnya pake head 3S-GE
soalnya blocknya sama persis (type 3S)

cuma setau gue memang kruk as dan piston 3S-GE beda dengan 3S-FE
kalo 3S-GE pistonnya udah 'high doom' kalo FE 'rata', jadi pasti hasil ratio kompresinya bakal beda dengan 'the real 3S-GE'
jadinya kalo basic mesinnya 3S-FE cuma diganti headnya doang pake GE tenaganya nggak akan sebesar yg jeroannya emang asli 3S-GE

maka dari itu gw nyaranin sm bung Mazonka jgn cuma ganti headnya doank,tp hrs dgn piston,con-rod,intake manifold,plenum intake,throttle body kpunyaan 3S-GE,ini buat 3S-GE yg blum VVT-i,kalo mau 3S-GE yg udah VVT-i ya hrs dgn modul VVT-inya sekalian.

kalo st gelondong yg non vvti sktr 13-14 jt,kl yg vvti red top sktr 20 jt,klo mo maen N/A coba aja dl maen porting polish,trs I/H/E=intake,header,exhaust,trs pake piggy back,ganti air filter standard dgn yg open,gant kabel busi dgn yg racing,<aku pake NGK Power Cable>ganti busi dgn type iridium,.punyaku dapet 190 HP ,top speed 240 kpj at 7200 RPM,tp setelah aku ngikutin sarannya Pak lik Penyu dengan mengubah ukuran header top speed 250 at 7800 RPM,<speedonya full di 260,RPMnya sampe 9000,limeter 8000,tp aku jebol limeternya pake Apexí RSM>punyaku 3S-GE non VVT-i gen 4,sdh di PnP,I/H/E oleh owner yg lama,stlh itu kluar yg redtop vvti,yg gen terakhir blacktop sdh dual vvti di pake di Toyota Altezza RS max power 230 HP standard,mungkin kalo di oprek lg bs lbh,pokoknya kalo mau bicara mesin N/A toyota yg oke ya 3S-GE,kaya mesin K20 DOHC VTEC nya Honda Integra,Beringas....!
Bung,lebih baik anda konsultasi kpd Pak lik penyu untuk bs dapet 150 HP.

tul kata bro danny
kalo mau naekin performa 3S-FE nya ya nggak ada langkah selain:
- I/H/E
- benahin pengapian (modul, koil, kabel busi, busi)
- Porting & Polish
- naekin kompresi (slip head)
- balance crankshaft en bubut flywheel (jangan banyak2 bubutnya ntar nggak kuat nanjak) :D
- ganti ECU / Remap atau pasang piggyback

gue rasa bisa deh sampe 150HP

3SGE emang termasuk mesin legendaris Toyota untuk N/A selain 4AGE buat mesin yg lebih kecilnya

B16B (EK9, Civic TypeR) juga hand assembled, tapi tdk di port polish, blok sama dengan B18C, hanya stroke nya di jadikan 1600cc dan high crown piston.Tenaganya 185PS close ratio gearbox, final gear 4.4 sama dengan B18C 96Spec.

Tapi semua mesin diatas adalah mesin putaran tinggi, jadi pemakaian dalam kota agak kurang memuaskan, walaupun tenaganya besar, tapi peak horse power berkisaran 7000rpm.

Solusi dalam kota adalah B20B (CRV tahun 1996-2001) dengan head B16A atau B18C typeR, dengan modfikasi kawinan ini, akan mendapatkan low end torque yang memuaskan dan horsepower yang fantastic.

Gw setuju sama pendapat Bro ini, kalo mau pake harian..Frankesteinnya ya Blok B20B plus Head B16A. Mau B16B juga OK, B18c lbh OK lagee..ato kalo mau murah meriah, bisa cari mesin ZC tapi yg DOHC, tapi not recommended

kalo mau frankenstein :

1. corolla 1800

tinggal swap head 4a-ge 20v blacktop ...190 hp ke atas dapet

2. camry 2.2 GLX

swap head 3S-GE dual VVT-i ato 3S-GTE = 5S-GE

dapet lah 240 hp an ke atas (3S-GE) ato 290 hp ke atas (3S-GTE)
Corolla AE111, AE112, ZZE122, ZRE211
4A-FE, 7A-FE, 1ZZ-FE, 2ZR-FE

Wah..kalo yg ini gw pernah liat dynonya mobil temen gw, Greco pake 7A plus head 20 klep, hasilnya : ga dapet segitu Bos...dapetnya cuma di kisaran 175-180..justru bagus kalo Headnya yg 16 klep..bisa kena 182an (catatan :Four Throthle terpasang)..Investigasi : Head 20V itu memang kurang efisien....Beda urusan kl yg sdh punya Toyota Atlantik..
Gw jg pernah mail ke TRD-USA (Toyota Technocraft)..mereka sendiri bilang, setting serta performa lbh sangar yg 16 klep

Gw sendiri sich mesin 4A-GE paling seneng memang yg 16 Klep...Angle ruang bakar, cam, serta bentuk intake/exhaust mendekati presisi..justru head yg ini yg hampir mirip Head B16A/B sekalipun

oo gitu ya? wah enak pake 4a-ge 16 donk, sama pula ama GTI part nya ga pusing...

kisaran 175 180 mayan sih... daripada std 7A yg 120 ato std 4a-ge 16 yang 140 hp doank

Upsss..ati-ati bro, 4a-GE GTI beda lo sama 4A-GE yg ada di Levin ato Trueno...bedanya di komponen dalam mesinnya, gw sendiri sich belon pernah liat tapi ada temen pake Levin, pesen spare-partsnya kudu ke Singapore/Aussie/Hongkong krn spare-parts GTI disini ga bisa dipakai../color]

- Di swap aja pake SR16VE>>Remember..mesin ini produce 197 HP!!!
:evil: cuma nyarinya..suaaanngaattt susah, lbh susah nyari type mesin ini di banding SR20DE FWD sekalipun

Di Jepang pada tahun munculnya, ini teman "main" Honda civic-R B16B yang "cuma" ngeluarin 185 HP...

mobil aku estilo taon 95,msh std,memang nih mobil lebih sering aku pake buat street racing tp buat kedepannya aku pengen nyoba drift.menurut bro2 sekalian enak nya modif apa dulu biar bs support dua hal diatas??

kaya'nya, bukan aspek murah mahalnya deh...
tapi dari sudut encer kentalnya...

ni logika awamnya..gak tau kalu' menurut ahlinya..?
maksudnya, kalu' mesin masih baru...khan onderdilnya masih presisi/rapat... jadi pake' yang encer emang bagus, tapi kalu' mesin udah tua...khan udah banyak ausnya...udah lebih renggangan...nach...bagusnya pake yang agak kentalan dikit, biar priksinya gak begitu banyak..
geto...kali...? tulung aja koreksinya (':e-dance:')
