Dry dct........hmm.......

Kalo merk lain kan memang terkenal kurang reliabel (vw, ford)

Kia / hyundai biasa awet, kita liat saja keawetannya gimana, price point 300jt-an masih sensitif sama durability, kalo gak kuat at least 50k km orang bakal makin alergi sama brand kia ke depannya

Yang error di negara lain sepertinya karena fault parts, bukan karena kurang durable, biasa batch 1 kan suka gitu.........

turbo mana ngaruh mau diisi bbm apa. kalau kenapa2 ahond pasti uda di bashing sana sini. paling diisi pertalite kebawah jadi ga lari. tapi buyer mana peduli, ga rusak ya jalan aja :mky_07:

dry clutch ya ringkas housingnya, minim perawatan, belum lagi faktor minim slip = more eco.

Konon katanya kia kasih warranty 5thn buat si seltos ini, setidaknya calon buyer masih bisa pake dengan tenang lima taon wkwk

andai Seltos ini dikasih transmisi TC jadul 6 speed atau MT tentu akan lebih menarik buat orang konservatif seperti ane.

Pas ane nulis tulisan di atas itu, di dalem benak ane ganti transmisinya gratis 2x under warranty.

So lebih murah 100jt + 2x ganti transmisi gratis = tetep CX3. :mky_03:

Oke kalo ganti transmisinya gratis

Kalo problem ditengah perjalanan, bersama keluarga yang rencananya pengen liburan tau tau transmisi problem n ga bisa jalan.. Repot lah nunggu mobil pengganti, towing, dll yang ujung2 nya makan cost besar.

Pengalaman ane pakai dct ford ecosport selama 4 tahun / 46rb kilometer belum pernah trouble sampai mobil dijual. Sampai saat ini kayaknya belum trouble jg saat sudah di pemilik baru karena sering update status jalan2 pakai ecos nya. Memang sudah karakternya dct yg ndut2an saat heavy traffic tapi tidak sampai fatal apalagi rusak. Mudah2an dct seltos lebih refined n awet. Yang penting cara pakainya n sering update software tcm.

. The combination of this engine, smooth gearbox, light steering, excellent ergonomics, properly placed dead pedal & good frontal visibility made the Seltos a breeze to drive in Bombay. It can crawl in bumper to bumper traffic conditions at 6 - 7 km/h after you lift your foot off the brake pedal in 'D'. This way, you can drive in heavy traffic with just the brake pedal. Be warned though, the practice has a downside and you shouldn't do it for an extended duration. The DCT starts heating up. A gauge for the DCT's temperature has been provided in the MID and we observed it going up in stop and go traffic (some owners have already reported seeing the overheating sign). Solution? If driving in traffic for long, put the gearbox in "N" whenever you stop. While it's doable and might become a habit with time, GTO heavily criticizes this as a design flaw in the dual-clutch gearbox that makes drivers (inconveniently) find a workaround. Also remember to press the brake pedal entirely in whenever you stop (partial brake input keeps the clutch engaged). In the worst situation, if you do see the overheating warning, it's just best to pull over and let the gearbox cool down for a couple of minutes.

Eniwei kalau dari pengalaman VW temen2 ai si dikasi advise untuk masukin N dan pakai manual mode di stop n go traffic

walau rasanya ngga mungkin sih transmisi ganti di km 50.000 :mky_02:

DCT atau DSG itu kan banyak yag aplikasikan.
Apakah utk type yg DRY ini ada cerita sukses tidak erroe di pabrikan tertentu.
apakah semua nasibnya cepat rusakan ?
apakah tergantung sikil usernya ?

Seingat saya yang pakai DRY clutch DSG

VW Golf (Mk VI, Mk VII), VW Scirocco (TSI)

Ford Fiesta 1.6, 1.5, 1.0 EcoBoost, Ford EcoSport

Itu terkenal problematik transmisinya, bahkan yang Ford baru ketahuan sebenernya kalo dari sananya ada defect, sama Ford tetap dijual...

Trik-nya : kalau lagi macet/creeping in traffic, pindahin ke manual mode, pasang gear 1 aja, biar nggak ganti” gear yang menyebabkan mechatronic overheat

Mercedes-Benz A-Class, B-Class, CLA-Class DSG semua, nggak tahu wet/dry clutch, jarang dengar trouble (?)

Based on : sedikit experience dan gathering information

Saya sendiri belum pernah punya mobil dengan DSG baik wet maupun dry clutch, kebetulan tipe” mobilnya aja yang nggak masuk kriteria mobil saya

Setelah gali” info jadi nggak berani pegang DSG juga wkwk

Mobil” yang pakai DSG itu fun to drive kalo jalanan lancar wkwk, sampe dulu sama teman sering iseng keluar malem” buat night drive naik Fiesta EcoBoost, demi nikmatin DSG dan Turbooooooo

Pabrikan Asia (Jepang & South Korea) baru denger yang pake DSG nih di Indo (CMIIW), menarik kalo mereka bisa bikin DSG DRY clutch yang nggak overheat di kemacetan, meskipun 1st batchnya DSG Kia udah ada problem, mengurangi keyakinan akan durability-nya

Tenang saudara-saudara, dikabarkan nanti Kia mau masukin yang mesin diesel dengan transmisi matik konvensional, yah walaupun gak mungkin bisa diisi solbus (karena mesinnya Euro 6) setidaknya transmisi sehat
