desmosedicci atau apa kek..
pokoknya, intinya timing klepnya itu terbuka dan (terutama) tertutup lebih presisi, tidak floating(tidak bersentuhan dgn cam) pd rpm tinggi spt valve train dgn spring valves / konvensional.
jadi ada semacam mekanis nya utk "menarik" lagi klep nya agar menutup(juga membuka) pd waktunya.

ralat bro,teknoogi katu ducati yang bener itu desmodromic,menurut om wiki

"Desmodromic valves are those which are positively closed by a cam and leverage system, rather than relying on the more conventional valve springs. The term desmodromic is derived from two Greek roots, desmos (controlled, linked) and dromos (course, track).

The valves in question are those in a typical Otto cycle internal combustion engine that allow the air/fuel mixture into the cylinder at the beginning of the cycle and allow exhaust gases to be expelled at the end of the cycle. In the conventional Otto cycle engine, a spring is used to apply pressure to valve and return it to the valve seat or closed position. The valve is either directly or indirectly opened by the camshaft."

nah, bener dong... desmo ini tidak mengandalkan per klep utk membuka / menutup, tapi ada mekanisnya..

Yah terang aja Accord 7th gen indo market itu pakai K24 spec terendah 160ps... (yg 8th gen juga 'cuma' 180ps sih, note : K24 CRV = 160ps(2gen), 170ps(3gen), K24 Oddissey absolute = 200ps)
Galant hiu juga outperformed kalo sama accord jaman "cielo" Euro 2200cc dohcvtec (H22A), baik rpm tinggi maupun rendah deh, ada juga i-vtec di accord Type S "CL9" K24 yg 200ps?

lagipula eh.. V6 (24valves) vs "four bangers" (16valves), mayan chalenging kan?
SOHC v6 vs i-vtec ? :e-naughty: , yg sepadan : MIVEC cam-changing(FTO GPX) dan I-VTEC

kayanya banyak yg pakai MIVEC kalo di kamus wikipedia:

ikutan rame yaach....jadi sebenarnya enak mana ya honda dg teknologi VTEC F23A dg mesin K24A i-VTEC? baik dr segi kualitas,ketahanan..yg pasti tarikan jg gmn yg lbh unggul? mungkin para suhu bisa bantu nih...heh2

dulu pernah pakai honda, itu juga yang sebelum jamannya vtec, masih pgmfi.

Galant Hiu dilawan, 2500cc SOHC v6 24 valve... larinya mak yuuusss... kata yg pernah pake..hehehe...
mitsu rajanya sedan sport rally, lawannya subaru, ford, citroen di WRC, APRC..nggak tau tu ramuannya kaya apa... belum MIVEC masih MPI/HLA (Hidraulic Lash Adjuster).

katanya mau undang orangnya mana nih... biar sekalian suruh demo...
