Kayaknya punya motor jangan cuma satu deh, yah sesuai mau perginya ke mana:

- Pulang kampung, pake Tiger Series
- Ngebali nambah uang saku, pake Ninja Series
- Ke mall, pake CBR
- Ke pasar, pake Bebek Series (ohh.. nasibmu..)
- Puter2 kompleks, pake Matic

Akur kan?

Sorry nih kalo repost..........
Emang sih banyak pro dan kontra terhadap design dan mesin yang dipake Tiger Revolution. Mungkin kebanyakan di forum2 lokal banyakan yang kontra kali yahh?
Tapi setelah browsing di internet, ternyata ada satu negara yang sangat "kesengsem" ama model yang dipake ama revo dehh....... dan negaranya adalah India.

The Picture shown below shows the first version of the Honda Tiger from Indonesia on the right and the Hero Honda CBZ on the left. Yes, the "original" Hero Honda CBZ is the Indian Cousin of the Tiger. Except for the difference in engine capacities of the two bikes and the Headlamp Fairing, the CBZ and the Tiger were the same bikes.. sharing same set of clothes and also the same engine block.

The engine of the new Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme is actually the 150 C.C Unicorn engine, tuned for better performance. That is perfectly Ok. But why didn't Honda/Hero Honda carry over the looks of the Indonesian Honda Tiger to the CBZ Xtreme..?? Instead, What India got was this one..

Needless to say that compared to the Honda Tiger, the CBZ Xtreme looks quite ordinary.. Had the new CBZ Xtreme looked like the Indonesian Honda Tiger, it could have given the market leader in the 150 C.C category, the Bajaj Pulsar a really tough time.

Honda/Hero Honda, can we expect the same "Tiger" looks on the CBZ Xtreme/Unicorn when it goes for a revamp next time..?? Please..??
Tadinya gw kirain mesin punya honda tigi dipake ama Hero Honda Karizma ternyata nggak....... Karizma di India pake mesin 223 cc.....

pantes aja kesengsem, dibanding hero honda india, tiger kita modelnya masih lebih OK, apalagi di india antara honda dan pulsarnya bermodel mirip, ditambah lagi model tiger baru kita jauh lebih keker dan OK, pantes aja india kesengsem.

eh.. malah banyak dari kita yang kesengsem dengan pulsar. sekali lagi, itu cuma jenuh. entah jenuh model atau jenuh spek.

cbz extreme tuh honda atau pulsar yah? wah.. new tiger kita nyontek india nih..

CBZ Extreme tuh punyanya Honda bro......

Btw, Di India sono koq Merek honda ada 2 jenis yah? Yang satunya pake tambahan "Hero Honda" dan satunya tetep pake Honda.
Jadi binun nehh.......

Baca2 blog punyanya India, ternyata Bajaj cukup menjadi pesaing terkuat dari Honda/Hero Honda Loh.....
Malahan, yang jadi no.1 disini, di India denger2 pabrikannya mo tutup.......... merek apakah itu?
merek Yamaha......

Emang rata2 model di India itu musti pake batok kepala, gak tau deh, mungkin orang sono sukanya yang kayak gitu dehh.... Coba perhatiin TVS, Hero Honda n Honda. Malahan Suzuki ama Yamaha India juga ikut2an......
Alah... asal njeplak lagi nehh..... heheheheheehehhe


tuh khan, Honda di India aja udah berani bikin motor Monoshock...... kapan nih di Indo?

Bener, utk segmen 150 cc keatas, bajaj merajai dgn pulsarnya, kemudian disusul herohonda, lalu TVS.

penjualan pulsar malah jauh diatas competitornya, terlebih setelah ngeluarin yg DTS-i 180, 200, 220.

sebenernya herohonda sendiri kalo ga salah masih nomor satu di penjualan keseluruhan, cuman di kelar prmier mrk kedodoran. alasannya klasik, sama spt di mari, mrk juga banyak yg komplen dgn pengembangan honda yg dinilai hanya ganti baju, sementara tehnologi masih yang lama. sementara kalo dilihat pulsar, jelas tiap muncul seri baru, ada aja tambahannya...

yg aneh, justru yamaha yg dimari perkasa, tp disana malah hampir bangkrut krn penjualannya lemah. walopun type gladiator (yg gossipnya mo di bawa ke indo) udah lumayan keren, tetep kurang bisa mendongkrak angka penjualannya, malah kalo ga salah mrk memasukkan 1 orang yamaha thailand utk bisa membantu, cuman belon kedengeran info selanjutnya.

sorri jika analisanya salah, mungkin ada yg lebih ngarti...

Gile bener........ Yamaha sampe pake orang thai buat ngedongkrak penjualan.......
Tapi emang bener sihh, disini buat motor laki (baca:sport touring) masih honda yang ngerajain meski Yamaha ada Scopie...... (Yang notabene harganya murah jauh daripada Tiger)...... CMIIW..... :)
Tapi kalo kelas matic........ yah udah tau lah jawabannya.........

In charge of Yamaha's new India strategy is its new Managing Director, T Ishikawa, the man who turned around Yamaha's Thai operations (which was supposed to have similar problems for Yamaha in Thailand). The "Circular" stated earlier was signed by Mr. Ishikawa.. maybe it was a part of this new "India Strategy".

kl mo ngalahin yamaha, bukan cuman di segment motor sport aja...!

segment di motor skubek dan bebek ato moped jg hrs dibenahi, kl boleh AHM udah hrs berani nerapin teknologi dr motor2 sport ke skubek dan motor bebek/ moped...!

AHM berani gak...?
gw rasa masyarakat terkadang hrs dibiasakan untuk menggunakan teknologi yg terbaru untuk tujuan memajukan industri otomotif dan olahraganya... :) dan gw rasa AHM bs berperan serta dalam hal ini, Yamaha aja udah bs tuh support Doni Tata... :D:D

(secara Honda gak mungkin nurunin harga lohh!!!!)

Kalo bebek mah sebenarnya gampang bgt.......
Masukin Nova Sonic 125 dengan harga 13-14 jt (max) beserta spare part yang terjamin n murah....... Pasti keok tuh semua motor bebek sport..........

Kalo kelas matic....... Tarik tuh Vario, trus ganti ama Airblade dengan harga yg sama ama Vario.......

Kalo kelas Sport touring, discontinue ajah tiger Revo ama Mega pro..... trus buat model baru dengan mesin+ aksesoris tiger revo+monoshock, dengan harga Mega pro......

Dan yang terakhir, masukin CBR 150 R, menggantikan posisi Tiger Revo (tentu dengan harga Tiger Revo)........

Dan gw sebagai konsumen akhirnya pilihh........... Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i.........

yang bener nih boss...udah disunting ape masih proses lamaran? cerita2 yah bos kalo udah jadi, pengen tau testi dari anggota SM ttg pulsar. (selama ini cuman dari milis doang)

justru malah nanti orang pada protes kalau tiger dilengserkan dan diganti cbr150. kalau mau lengser, megapro aja dilengserin (abis nanggung 160 vs 200, model sekilas sama). atau gak perlu ada yang lengser deh, masukin aja cbr150 tuk nambah koleksi (ini paling mungkin). karena tiger untuk kelas motor nyaman (performa gak penting), dan cbr konsen performa (nyaman gak penting). Antara orang yang demen nyaman dan performa, masih banyakan yang demen nyaman lho. Dan yang demen performa dan gaya, itu lagi booming. Jadi nih dua motor harusnya bisa hidup aman happily ever after. Tapi terserah sih, terserah kepadamu Honda Indonesiaku, sama sekali gak mengharapkan!

tiger revo emang mantap posisi ridingnya, dimodif dikit lg jd monoshock plus upsidedown udah cukup gahar tampilannya...
