Pada dasarnya mau VTEC, MIVEC, VVT atau apa kek yg sejenis itu semuanya sama aja hanya saja ada perbedaan variasi pada penggunaannya/aplikasinya biar para manufakturer bisa membedakan brand-name mereka dan juga gak kena tuntutan HAKI/copyright/lisensi.

Pada dasarnya ya satu doang mengatur buka tutupnya valves.

honda punya vtec, toyota punya vvt-i, suzuki punya vvt, nissan punya cvtc... intinya cuman maen2 di cam nya doank yah... knapa ga ada pabrikan yg coba inovasi dibagian mesin lain nya yah ?

boxer (terutama di porsche) dan rotary = merupakan engineering tersendiri drpd mekanis variable valve, boxer sama aja mesin konfigurasi v cuma dgn sudut 180.
rotary mesin yg beda total.

masing2 subaru dan mazda di most mobilnya juga pakai variable valve timing layaknya common "vvti". cuma aja mekanisme variable valve ini intinya ada 2 :
cam-phasing (ini umum dijumpai di most mobil sekarang terutama 1500cc ke atas, misal vvti, dvvt, cvtc(nissan));
dan cam-changing (ini lebih jarang dijumpai, seperti : VVTL-i, VVL(nissan), dohc-vtec, i-vtec, dohc-mivec(fto)).

yup bener tuh,mesin boxer adalah mesin dengan konfigurasi V yang ditidurin pada posisi saling berlawanan,biasanya dipake porsche n subaru tapi bmw n honda pernah pake di motor,mercy juga klo ga salah pernah pake

sedangkan rotary atau wankel engine adalah mesin dengan konfigurasi yang berbeda dimana ga ada lagi piston tapi diganti sama rotor berbentuk segitiga yang digerakkan oleh rotor,yang menggantikan fungsi piston untuk mengkompres bahan bakar,kelebihan lain dari wankel engine adalah part yang lebih sedikit dimana gak ada klep,piston,conrod,etc dan juga katanya bisa menghasilkan HP lebih tinggi (CMIIW),biasanya dipake mazda...

gw agak jelas mengenai wankel engine setelah liat gambar ini di wiki, jauh sekali dengan VVT-i, VVT, VTEC, MIVEC, atau bahkan VTI :mrgreen:

yup bedanya jauh banget karna VVT-i, VVT, VTEC, MIVEC itu cuman pengaturan klep sedangkan wankel adalah mesin yang bener2 beda,kalo dulu di IIMS gw liat ada mesin wankel yang dibelah n bisa bergerak buat kasi ilustrasi cara kerja wankel...

Bro Nes kalau kita kembali ke muka VTi yang di magsud TS itu mobil honda seri VTI apa mesinya..wekeke :mrgreen:

Iyah neh sebenarnya ane juga udah nduga dari awal.semisal kalau ane bertanya tentang mobil Avansa yang type s,pasti pertanyaanya
Apa kelebihan type s di banding yang E atau G,atau memang karena pertanyaanya judulnya mirip mirip sama jenis mesin, gak tau ah..yang bisa jawab TS nya...Nggak nongol juga yah ampe sekarang. :shrug:

mungkin TS mengira VTi itu semacam teknologi engine seperti VTEC, padahal VTi itu varian mobilnya kayak avanza E, G, dan S atau lancer GLX, GLXi, dan GTi

ada ngga teknologi mesin honda yang namanya VTi?

tapi suer gw baca thread ini dari awal bikin ngakak...

setau saya, dibeberapa varian sedan honda, dulu sering ditempel emblem vti, utk membedakan varian mesin nya yg vtec dan yg non vtec... jadi yg vtec itu ditempel emblem vti dan EXi utk yg non vtec... tuh contohnya honda city (sx8)

honda city sx8 itu honda city kluaran taon 97 ampe ampe yg type Z, dari mesin nya yg 1300 ampe 1500 injection non vtec dan 1500 vtec

ane komen tret lama..

ane pernah baca tentang klep yang rotari. jadi kalo klep sekarang kan naik turun.. katanya klep rotari ini lebih efisien..
jadi tidak hanya pembakaran aja yang rotari, klep juga ada.. cmiiw
