The Tino is a parallel hybrid type, employing either the electric motor, the ICE, or the two together, for propulsion, depending on operating conditions. A second motor/generator starts the ICE, and when driven by the engine recharges the batteries. The engine is cut off when the vehicle comes to a stop, except when the standard air conditioner is in use. The vehicle always starts off on electric power, propelled by a Hitachi three-phase ac synchronous motor producing 17 kW (23 hp) between 1390 and 5600 rpm and 155 N•m (114 lb•ft) between 0 and 700 rpm, operating on a 345-V system. At about 25 km/h (16 mph) and above, the gasoline ICE takes over as the primary propulsion source.

The engine is based on the QG18DE DOHC, 16-valve inline four-cylinder unit, displacing 1769-cm3 and operating on the Miller-cycle high-expansion principle with late intake valve closing by means of a continuously variable intake valve timing system. The Miller cycle allows a high compression ratio of 12.0:1 using regular-grade unleaded fuel. The engine is tuned for optimum fuel efficiency, with its output held to a modest 74 kW (100 hp) at 5200 rpm and 141 N•m (104 lb•ft) at 4000 rpm

Terima kasih Bung Edward

Saya sendiri kurang ngerti maksud dari intank + inline.
Cuman ada info katanya untuk mobil yg mengkonsumsi bensin pertamax/pertamax plus (pakai catalyst converter), dapat diubah menjadi mengkonsumsi bensin biasa dengan menggunakan intank + inline.
Apakah ini benar?
Bagaimana mekanisme kerjanya?
Berapa perkiraan biaya (material + ongkos)?
Apakah ada pengaruhnya terhadap mesin?
Apakah ada pengaruhnya terhadap catalyst converter?

Bung Siwi, apa bukan itu maksudnya intake? Biasanya sih kalo orang bilang "intake", itu maksudnya air intake, atau lubang tempat udara dapat masuk ke karburator untuk bisa dicampur dengan bensin dan dibakar, atau kasarnya ya "lubang napas"nya mobil.

Kalo inline itu sih cuma istilah yang sering dipake buat layout silinder. Contoh: Inline-4, itu berarti ada 4 silinder yang disusun segaris. Mobil yang pake inline-4 itu banyak banget, contohnya, Honda City, MR-S, Lancer (evo maupun nggak), Kijang, dsb. Inline ya bisa berapa aja, seperti inline-3 (Avanza), inline-6(BMW 528), dsb.

Ada lagi juga format V. Contoh V-6 (6 silinder dengan format V), adalah galant V-6. Kalo V-8 ya contohnya mesin2 small block Holden itu lho.

Terus, catalytic converter itu ya kasarnya cuma saringan doang. Namanya doang yang keren. Ini biasanya ada di mesin2 yang pake bensin tanpa timbal (unleaded), atau kalo di sini ya Pertamax Plus. Kalo misalnya dipakein bensin yang pakai timbal, catalytic converter ini juga setahu saya bakal rusak (residu timbal). Kalau mau, dicopot aja juga bisa, sih. Toh, malah menghalangi aliran gas buang.

Mungkin yang mas Siwi maksud itu gimana caranya mesin yang seharusnya pakai bensin tanpa timbal diubah jadi bensin dengan timbal. Kalau saya bilang sih, nggak usah diubah aja juga bisa, paling juga catalytic converternya rusak. Toh, itu cuma saringan doang.

Tapi, ini dari apa yang saya tahu mengenai mesin, lho. Ada baiknya tanya sama bengkel2 yang sudah ahli.

Terus, mungkin dari rekan2 yang lain mau ada yang tambahin atau koreksi? Siapa tahu saya juga salah.

memang sih ada produk yg ditawarkan untuk membuat mobil pertamax/plus agar bisa pake premium, antara lain dengan memanaskan bensin dahulu sebelum masuk ke injeksi sistem atau carburator.....
