These are the very first pictures that have leaked out, showing a production-ready 2005 Honda Odyssey with just a tad of tape hiding various design elements.
The new and much larger Odyssey will new be built in Honda's Lincoln, Alabama , facility, which will eventually have an annual production capacity of 120,000 units.
Rumor has it that the new Odyssey is an improvement, but not a radical remake of the existing vehicle. The styling has been reworked and resembles Honda's Pilot SUV more closely in profile.
This newest Odyssey will be unique to the North American market. This test vehicle - shown here in what is believed to be "Midnight Blue Pearl" paint with a grey interior, will be one of 13 exterior/interior color options offered.
The all-new Odyssey will be available this coming fall.

Weleh weleh ... kayanya Honda terlalu cepat meluncurkan New Odyssey nih.
Dan terkesan tergesa2 ... padahal yang skg ini aja belum lama beredar di pasaran.
Dan New Odyssey tahun 2005 yad ini menggunakan model pintu geser (sliding). Perubahan cukup drastis tuh. Tapi kesan sportynya langsung hilang ... Saya sih lebih prefer ke model yang skarang ini dibandingkan dengan model terbarunya yad.
Dan terkesan tergesa2 ... padahal yang skg ini aja belum lama beredar di pasaran.

Kalau di pasaran spt Amerika, model Odyssey sekarang ini sudah termasuk lama, makanya memang sudah waktunya utk dikeluarkan model Odyssey baru yg sudah di-redesigned total, dan bukan hanya sekedar minor facelift.

Betul...
Honda punya dua Odissey.
Yang satu yang keluaran Jepang yang satu lagi yang di Amerika. Kalo di JEpang.. Odissey Amerika itu disebut Lagreat. Pasarannya kurang bagus di Jepang, karena ukuran body yang lebih besar dan menurut stylingnnya tidak semanis odissey jepang.
UNtuk menyaingi Toyota Alphard dan NIssan Elgrand, Honda memodifikasi nya jadi yang sekarang disebut Elysion. Nah untuk dimaerikanya tetep dikebangin model baru berdasarkan Lagreat itu.
Honda punya dua Odissey.

Oh hehehe ... ternyata Odyssey ada 2 versi toh ... Yg Jepang jelas lagh lebih keren. Kesan sportnya menonjol banget. Tapi untuk segmen The Real MPV kurang cocok dengan bodi rendah, kesan luasnya langsung hilang kan.
Untuk Odyssey versi Amrik pasti lebih luas. Karena bodinya tinggi.
Honda Elysion di Indo juga udah masuk, namun masih versi IU. Jadi udah pasti harganya mahal sekali. Tapi gw tetep lebih suka modelnya TOYOTA ALPHARD dan NISSAN ELGRAND, karena terkesan lebih mewah untuk kelas The Luxurious MPV.
Untuk Odyssey versi Amrik pasti lebih luas. Karena bodinya tinggi.
