Saat ini ane ada E36 320i M52 1995.. msh tangan pertama.. udh ane ganti abis2an jeroan (upgrade dikit pake jeroannya 323), kaki2, interior dsb, ... body boleh thn 95 punya tp powernya msh gress ...

The BMW E36 is the third generation of the 3 Series compact executive cars produced by BMW. Development began in 1983, with final design being approved in 1988. It was introduced in late 1990 (as a 1991 model[citation needed]) for Europe and in April 1991 (as a 1992 model) for US and Canada. It was the successor to the E30 3 Series and was eventually replaced by the E46 3 Series in 1998, though E36 coupes were still produced for the 1999 model year. The E36 experienced enormous success in the market. It laid strong foundations for the success that the BMW E46 enjoyed in subsequent years.
Also known as the "dolphin shape", the E36 was sold from 1991 through 1999. All E36 saloons, coupes, and estates employed the "Z-axle" multilink suspension in the rear which had been proven in the Z1. There was a hatchback body style, known as the E36/5 or BMW Compact. In order to save space due to its truncated rear end, the Compact used a rear semi-trailing arm suspension based on the older E30 (also found in the Z3 and M Coupe), instead of the Z-Axle Multilink employed in all other E36's.
In the United States, the four-door E36 were on sale by April 1991, while the E30 coupes were retained until well into 1992 when they were replaced by E36 coupes. The E36 convertible was delayed until 1993.
The hatchback body style, known as the BMW Compact, was introduced in 1995 starting with the 318ti, being very popular in Europe but largely unsuccessful in North America. The "Touring" estate was sold in Europe from 1995, but was not available in the United States.
DOHC engines were used across the range (except in entry level models, see table below), with VANOS variable valve timing introduced in 1993. The 2.5 L M50B25 used in the 325i models was replaced in 1996 with the 2.8 L M52B28, creating the 328 line. Another 2.5 L I6 engine, the M52B25, was reintroduced for 1998 but badged as the 323i rather than 325i. The E36 was the first vehicle to offer a 5-speed automatic
The 1992-1998 BMW 3 series is referred to as the E36 for ease of reference among the 3 series generations. The 3 series is considered as a compact executive sedan. The E36 is also known as “the dolphin shape” but I don’t see any dolphins looking like an e36, but perhaps they were talking about the slanting line of its window and roof which resembles the curve back of a dolphin without its pectoral fin.
The E36 is preceded by the E30 and succeeded by the E46. The E36 utilizes an FR layout, meaning it’s a front engine, rear wheel drive layout (God help BMW if they ever decide to change it to an FF). The FR layout enables the engine to be longitudinally placed and helps distribute the weights and enables the transmission to be placed in line with the engine. The FR layout helps improve traction during acceleration because of the Weight Transfer, weight is placed on the rear wheels giving more contact to the ground. The Disadvantage of an FR layout is during extreme conditions, over steer or fishtailing may occur.

Like the E30, the E36 is fast becoming an icon of its time, and comes in so many different guises that its hard to find one that doesn’t suit your needs. Subtle exterior styling and steeply raked windscreen has aged well, and still has a very modern feel despite its age. The sleek ergonomic interior takes styling cues from the hugely successful E30, such as the driver-biased centre console, still recognisable in the latest incarnations of the marque.
Entry-level 316is are often the best cared-for and least abused examples, as their lack of out-and-out performance never hardened drivers. Good examples are cheap and plentiful, and are also economical and practical, especially in four-door guise. For those with performance in mind, the 323i, 325i and 328i have it in spades, without losing any of the practicality of the rest of the range. With E30 prices rocketing, now’s the perfect time to buy the best E36. With more boot space, legroom and economy than its predecessor, it’s getting difficult to find something not to like.
With so many different engine and styling options, there really is an E36 for everyone, whether you are after a rocket ship for the track, a Sunday cruiser, or a practical everyday runabout. Base model 316is are relatively underpowered, but can be entertaining, especially in the wet. Rear-wheel drive and good weight distribution can be great fun in the hands of a capable driver. At other end of the spectrum the 328i provides 193bhp and near M3 performance, but with much more usability in the real world, with the 140bhp 318iS offering a good compromise on performance and economy. All iants use the same body shell and come in both coupe and saloon guise. Both iants have ample space for four, colossal boot space and tasteful interior trim.
By now the car’s quirks are well documented and will be no mystery to the nation’s BMW specialists. Providing you are aware of the cars weak points you will find it relatively easy to get hold of a clean and reliable example which, with correct maintenance, will be capable of covering up to 250,000 miles in fine style.

Dari pengalaman sediakan minimum budget 5jt - 10jt tergantung apa saja yg diganti dan tergantung kondisi mobil yg kita ambil. Makin rata2 harganya, makin banyak yg diganti biasanya
Kalo itu semua sudah, tinggal daftar berikut:
1. Cek /ganti head unit
2. Cek interior, ganti door trim dan bungkus jok
3. Ganti kaca film bila perlu, pake 3M atau Perfection, atau merk lain sesuai selera
4. Cat ulang seluruh body (cari bengkel body yg bagus kerjaannya) atau poles pakai bahan yg bagus (Meguiars misalnya)
Untuk 4 terakhir ini butuh 30jt-an klo harus cat ulang dan ganti doortrim dan bungkus jok yg kulit, bukan MB-Tech
Investasinya memang besar didepan, tapi kita bener2 naik BiEm, tidak bolak balik ke bengkel.
Dan klo sdh perfect begini jangan dijual lagi dariapda sakit hati kalo ditawar harganya sama pedagang
Mending nambah BiEm, krn pembeli pasti ngeliatnya harga pasaran, kecuali kalo beruntung dapet pembeli yg menghargai upaya restorasi yang kita lakukan

Sdh mulai jualan n sy hafal harga nya. Factuur juga masih sy simpan. Saat itu superceeded e30 masih dijual n oleh astra u jkt (bukan oleh tunas ya yg tunas sy tdk tau) oleh astra u jkt e30 last batch dijual di bmw usedcar center yg saat itu sempat sebentar berlokasi di jln matraman raya. Harga yg last batch red metallic itu rp.86juta. Ada satu opthalmologist kolega alm ayah juga beli yg last batch saat sy dibelikan yg itu. Th95 sy dibelikan 320i a/t CKD. Harga onroad rp.133juta ...maksutnya spy sy balik indo tapi sy tetap stayed ostrali n unit baru sy liat di garasi pas sy pulang u packing

Kalo ada rekan e36-ers yg merasa pedal koplingnya berat, cek dulu kanpas remnya dsb...klo memang msh bagus dan kopling setnya jg msh ok, silakan coba cara ini spy pedalnya lbh enteng dikit...
Spy pedal kopling e36 jd lbh enteng adalah dgn cara mengganti master kopling bawah e36 dengan punyanya e34 (seri 5) yg bermesin M40. Gw ganti master kopling e36 M52 gw dgn e34 M40 yg bermerk FTE... Diameter dalam master kopling standar e36 berukuran 20mm-an sdngkan punyanya e34 M40 berukuran 22mm-an. Tenang aja jgn takut salah ganti ukuran, ada cetakan angka 20 atau 22 nya kok di bagian baut tengah. Secara fisik, baik yg diameter dalamnya 20mm dan 22mm, bentuknya sama persis. Jadi kita baru tahu yg mana yg diameter dalamnya no 20/22 dari angka yg tercetak di barang tsb. Dan kalau kita coba ukur pake garisan juga beda lebarnya. Jadi kalo mau lebih enteng seperti yg saya sdh lakukan, ganti dgn master kopling yg diameter dalamnya lebih besar yaitu 22mm
Silakan dicoba saja kalo mau lebih enteng dan mungkin jg bisa berlaku ke BMW seri lain selama ada yg sama bentuk fisiknya. Perbedaan yg terjadi, pergerakan tuas persneling jd agak panjang mungkin karena sekarang injakan pedal kopling yg jd lebih enteng. Sekalian kuras dan ganti oli persnelingnya biar lbh fresh..

wah asik nih khusus bahas e36.. Mobil kenangan saya... Saya dulu pernah punya e36 323 thn 97, hadiah dari ayah saya krn berhasil lulus dgn IPK nyaris cumlaude ...
e36 323i ini saya benar2 merasakan mobil yg spektakuler utk kelasnya, handlingnya sangat baik, sangat responsif, sangat stabil, cukup kuat & tangguh di tanjakan dengan isi 4 orang.. sy pernah bawa dari jakarta sampai bali thn 99, nyaman dan aman... sblmnya saya pakai eterna GTI 92 yg udh cukup "dahsyat" buat saya tp ternyata 323i lbh "dahsyat" lagi powernya krn 2500cc & 6 silinder.. bgsnya 323i ini biarpun lbh dahsyat gak se"liar" eterna, ini yg membuat sy ngerasa 323i lbh safe dlm high speed dan jg lbh nyaman utk dikendarai ... waktu itu sepupu saya punya mercy c280, waktu saya test saya sih ngerasanya lbh better handling e36, tubuh tuh rasa2nya melekat di mobil ..driving stylenya lbh enak e36, masalah kenyamanan ya mercy lbh unggul dikitlah tp overall klo buat saya e36 lbh wokeee lahh
Skr 323i itu dipakai adik saya krn saya kerja pindah ke luar, gak akan dijual krn pemberian alm ayah sy ..kenangan yg gak terlupakan dgn e36..pas nanti udh balik lg ke Indo, sy ambil balik mobilnya

Nah ya itu m43 n sy ingat iklannya di harian kompas yg gambarnya unit mobil itu dg rantai rantai pengikat yg putus putus semua. E36 dengan angel eyes cukup keren.. ane udh pasang spt di gambar di bawah.. kunjungi aja http://www.delapansatu.com/ ..emang hrgnya sedikit lbh mahal dari tempat lain tp dijamin puas hasilnya, berkualitas dan montir2nya rapi kerjanya..ownernya jg baik dan professional ...bisa modifikasi utk semua mobil, tempat itu jg jual lampu HID kualitas tinggi.

Sudah dijual semua. Yang coupe dijual tahun '9 dan yang sedan tahun '13. E36 M3 itu mobil lumayan bagus; seneng nyetirnya tapi power/torsinya kurang banget. Driving dynamics-nya enak, komunikatif tapi ya itu problemnya, rada bolot.Godwill wrote:Skr mblnya mana gan?

pernah berinteraksi dengan e36 karena ayahnya gebetan waktu akhir sma sampai awal kuliah pernah miara 320i M50 dari baru tahun 1996 akhir atau 1997 gitu.
bener-bener garage queen, hanya dipakai sabtu minggu aja ke bogor atau ke puncak, kalo harian pakai mobil sedan jepang saja.
saya sebagai penggemar otomotif agak sedih ngeliat nasib ni mobil yang seharusnya bisa didayagunakan dan diexplore kemampuan nya tapi hanya diam terparkir di pojokan garasi.
karena sesuatu dan lain hal pada tahun 2003 diminta tolong ama si ayah ini untuk bantu jualin bmw 320i ini barengan dengan beberapa mobilnya yang lain.
setelah mobil yg laen udah pada laku akhirnya ketemu juga orang yg mau beli ini bmw 320i, agak lebih susah jualnya ini bmw dibanding mobil jepang lain yg dijual barengan saat itu.
saat dijual odometer masih kurang dari 10rb tapi kondisi interior mobil (katanya) penyakit bmw saat itu ya yaitu plafon turun, klo jok dashboard dll sih masih bagus

Bolot gimana bro? mungkin krn dibandingin sama yg mobil tengahnya yg mobil sport jd merasa bolot hehe.. Ini ada copas review sedikit dr observer mobil2 yg ada di seluruh dunia ttg M3 : " It revved like a turbine, made a delicious noise and pumped out a muscular 210 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque which, for a non-turbocharged three-litre engine was really something (then and now)."
