FISS itu full independent suspension system, suspensi depan dan belakang independent, contoh hummer, pajero gen 3 dan 4
IFS independent front suspension, suspensi depan independent, suspensi belakang rigid, misalnya pajero gen 2, LC100, kijang kapsul, panther, avanza, strada, navara, everest
Full Rigid suspensi depan dan belakang semua rigid, misal katana, jimny, taft, land rover defender, LC80, FJ40

suspensi rigid lebih lentur artikulasinya, sangat berguna di jalan bergelombang seperti jalan tanah, namun kurang nyaman

IFS = bagian roda depan pake lengan ayun kayak sedan2 jaman sekarang sementara bagian belakang pake gardan kayak truk.

FISS = semua roda make lengan ayun kayak sedan baik roda depan maupun roda belakang

jgn lupa ama JK jg masih Full rigid om...... trus jimny wide,LC70,LC105,G-klass masih rigid juga hehe...

Grand Cherokee 2011 WK2 jd FISS karna di kritik terus sama media, klw ada komparasi pasti di tandingin sama RR,X5,ML dkk yang FISS pasti aja kalah on road comfortnya.. nah jd skrng dibuat FISS.. toh segmentnya memang luxury car bukan yg katanya "SUV Tangguh". bwat penggila oprut biar beli JK aja yg memang di buat "just for having fun" haha, toh sekarang di buat yang 4 door bwat ngisi segment cherokee XJ/family SUV yang g egois cuma 2 orng seperti di model 2door hehe..

oyah WK2 dibuat pke basis MLclass "gosipnya" tahun ini mw di jual oleh ATPM sini.. dan sementara yang gw denger cuma versi 4x2 :frm_bang_head: :frm_bang_head: aja yg uda ada kabar harganya uda 1M lebih dikit.. apa lgi yg 4x4..

haha ga dink tergantung oprutnya di mana dulu.... klw ke speed lebih enak pke FISS. rigid tidak haram tp handling dan stabilitas tidak sebaik fiss ini alasan speed,BAJA, dakar dan oprut yang berbau rally suspensinya kebanyakan independen bgtu juga hummer yg FISS karna di gunain di timurtengah yang berpasir dan tdk butuh suspension flex tinggi.

klw ke adventure, expedisi, apalagi rockcrawling FISS kurang di sukai, why? karna low suspension flex,too much component,more complex and less durable..

seharusnya keliat bedanya FISS dan FullRigid saat lewatin rintangan...... "lengket" kakinya bisa memanjang dan g mudah ngangkat dari tanah hehe...

tp setingan suspensi gini bgtu di bawa ke gurun atw speedoprut di jamin bikin pusing selain limbung, bgtu nyungsep di pasir/lumpur pasti akan sulit di tarik hehe dibandng yg Fiss...

Contoh yang gampang avanza itu FIS om.. Kaki depan independent, kaki belakang ada balok dari ban kiri ke ban kanan, di tengah ada bonggol gardan, itu rigid axle namanya

biasanya yg turun ke kompetisi kan full rigid
speed:cherokee adventure:fj,jimny,dll

bukan gtu om... bukan bearti yg independen g bisa oprut... tp tergantung oprutnya dmn hehe...

klw di indonesia memang masih dominan yang rigid di event speed offroad sekalipun, bisa jadi karna perawatan,aftermarket, durability serta maintenance-sparepart yang jauh lebih mudah dan simple.. meski dri segi handling blm sebaik independen..

tp mulai ada yang memulai membuat jipnya dgn IFS custom atw bahkan FISS.. seperti team KSnusa dgn nissan navara custom di kelas protruck unlimited, walau sya rasa axle depannya bukan bawaan nissan.. tp uda di custom karna swingarmnya panjang as rodanya juga lebih berotot... hehe brp duit aja yah bikin axle depannya... axle blkng "currie" custom axle dri AS engine Chrysler 4.7 V8 dri WJ hehe...
trus di kelas <2500 ada tubular jimun buatan 4xfadwork yang pakai FISS dari 2 gardan depan vitara di kombinasiin engine 1500cc suzuki light weight combination..

klw di kelas <4500cc memang paling di gandrungin masih XJ... padahal di kelas lain mobil tubular custom smua hahaha cuma XJ yang mobil utuh di pakai turun...ummm kurang tw nih di kelas ini ada yg udah pakai independen blm hehe.... uniknya klw ntn di kelas ini.. mungkin pesertanya macem2 dri XJ,CJ,YJ sampai toyota tp teriakannya mesinnya terdengar hampir sama dri chrysler 4.0 H.O aka engine xj hehe...

fungsinya nyatuin per coil dan shockbreaker - resevoir yg pke tabung tambahan itu.. favorit modifikator custom karna pemasangan mudah, cukup bikin satu braket untuk Coilovershock tidak perlu braket lain untuk per hehe...ukuran juga ringkas, dan rate suspensi bisa di atur, bisa juga di pakai dual rate kya gambar di atas, rate pertama biasanya lebih soft, satu lagi keras fungsinya agar lebih mendorong saat artikulasi, bisa juga untuk "soft ride" daily use hehe..... kelemahannya 1. harga 2. klw travel tidak di batasi bgtu stuck di lumpur bakal sulit di tariknya karna kaki2 ngulur terus hehe...

bentuknya sekilas mirip shockbreaker-resevoir tapi ada jalur "tube" di sekujur bodynya selain yg pake slank pastinya.... keunggulan compresion n reboundnya bisa di atur lewat tube tadi, jenis beragam.. dari 2 tube sampai 4 tube....panjang shock bearagam, bgtu juga diamter body dan shaft/as shocknya... klw di seting dgn bener fungsi bypassnya bisa ngebantu Stopper mobil saat loncat atw ngehajar lubang. kelemahannya.. : muahaall merk KING 1 biji @ 14jt itu dulu, Berisiikk Bypass tubenya akan bunyi ceklekckle kya besi pletok2 gtu tiap ada hentakan ke shock klw g biasa pasti kaget (gw juga kaget haha).., dijamin keras bukan bwat harian, imho cocoknya bwat kompetisi extreme apa lgi speed bwat event adventure turing juga masih terasa keras dan suaranya itu ckckck..... hehehe tp kta temen gw "merdu" gtw deh hahaha..


klw pesen langsung di AS shock kelas bgini bisa di custom sesuai keinginan kita atw minta di hitungin bwat bobot dan tujuannya apakah daily,speed,adventure atw rockcrawling d kendaraan kita.. nanti dia atur ukuran valving oil shaft dllnya sehingga tiap shock bisa unik dan sesuai dgn mobil yang mw di pakai.. nah masalahnya gimana dgn shock yang dijual dan di pajang di toko di indo?speknya ngikut berdasarkan mobil dan peruntukan kmn ya who knows....

ohya shock ginian juga bisa di rebuild jd klw suatu saat bocor, bisa di btulin ganti sealnya aja misalnya bisa di bilang lifetime haha.. selain itu shock ini memang di buat dri bahan pilihan shaft tebal pelepasan panas yang baik , bwat heavy use deh...

terakhir pikirkan apakah perlu shock kelas seperti ini?terus terang ini pendapat sya pribadi yah mungkin aja beda orng lain..
selama g ikut kompetisi speed offroad atau yang extrime, rasanya berlebihan pakai shock kelas Remote Resevoir apalgi Bypass begini.. hehe waspada terhadap tukang KOMPOR ah haha... kec niatnya beda untuk urusan "prestise" sih yah susah.. ada aja orang yang sengaja masang SHock gini terus Tabung Resevoidnya dtaro di tempat yg mudah terlihat beserta tulisan "KING" atw "FOX" haha... uda gtu tiap hari di gosokin biar herang hehehe... emang keren sih.. :big_peace:
