Note: Ini orang pernah wheelie (standing) pake GSX-R750 kelamaan sampai mesinnya rusak karena olinya nggak sampai ke atas.
Personaly I only squeeze the brake slowly when doing a rolling stoppie from high speeds (don't want to lock the front wheel when your going fast, and if you do where gloves, I didn't!) When doing a traditional stoppie (low speed to a stop) it's not the rate or force of the front brake, i find that it comes more down to your body possition and where you shift your weight on the bike, all whilst braking hard. tapping your rear brake when your back wheel is in the air will bring you up a bit higher too. I don't drop my tyre pressures while stunting, always a constant 36 psi front and back.
Burnouts are a no brainer, front brake, a bit of throttle and let out the clutch.
Wheelies are another story, there are many ways to wheelie a bike and i don't care what you ride, yes the front wheel will lift. you may not be able to do them several k's long and change gears up on one but just a small up down on take off, even a scooter can do. There is three ways to get a bike up, 1. under power, just open the throttle (big bikes only) 2. what i like to call double tap (and my fav) accelerate to your power range then quickly shut the throttle then open it again, this will use your springs to bounce the front up with the power of your engine. finally 3. using the clutch, the easiest to do but your bike doesn't like it! just before your power region, pull the clutch in but keep the gas on, let the clutch out and up she comes, (this is best for high speed wheelies > 100kmh). once up its best to keep them low at first but as you get some practice in take them higher and higher untill you find the balance point. when you have found that you can change gears, stand up whatever! be creative. Also know that it wont come naturally, it takes most people 1 to 2 years till they can do long hard core monos! supose i should say something like don't try this at home so no one sues me! seriously though be careful dont practise in traffic and wear all your gear (i now always wear my gloves when stunting)
As i said earlier this theroy is usless with out someone to show you, some one to ask questions and a lot of practice. so if anyone would like me to come for a ride with them let me know. I'll admit i'm good at stoppies, there are people that can do better wheelies than me but i'm ok, I can change gears up there which i am proud of!
and burnouts, none for a while due to my new tyres but if anyone wants to see my video, I popped my old rear doing a 5th gear burnout! Have fun, be safe, take care and have a happy new year
Sean.
