Dari segi Gas Dynamic, agar fungsi scavenging optimal, maka yang lurus dan radius tekukan besar lebih disukai ... so gambar bawah lebih direcomendasikan sekiranya tidak ada limitation pada space (ruang).

Bisa aja, kasih gw waktu .... kalau boleh tahu standar ukuran diameter dan panjang pipa headernya berapa ... jadi tinggal optimise dari situ. Tujuannya untuk Low End Torque atau High End Power ?. Untuk Wide Band Power Range ... ya mesti makai konfigurasi 4-2-1.

Bisa dapetin information gak ya, tentang (untuk 3S-GE) :

1. BBDC (Before Bottom Dead Center) - Exhaust Valve Open (dalam derajad)
2. ATDC (After Top Dead Center) - Exhaust Valve Close (Dalam derajad).

Pada RPM berapa mau terjadi Peak Torque ?.

Bung WP: aku dapat mobil mesinnya udah pake 3S-GE,ga tau itu asli ato hasil swapping,tp kode sasisnya ST 195,.
Om Penyu,: aku tidak bisa nyebutin berapa ukuran standarnya,soale kayaknya headernya udah di ubah sama owner yg lama dengan model 4-1,di tutup exhaust wrap lg, and buku manualnya ga ada,kalo aku sih pinginnya high end power,and peak torquenya di RPM 4,mungkin Om Penyu bs nyari data2 yg di perlukan,maklum Om,aku masih ijo dalam hal beginian.makanya aku buat thread ini untuk minta bantuan para masyer2 SM.

Contoh BBDC dan ATDC yang gw sebut diatas itu data untuk mesin 3S-GE ... punyanya Celica yang 2000cc. Untuk High End Power (Torque) gue bikin 5000 RPM ... yang aslinya sih ada yang 4800 RPM atau ada yang lebih (sekitar 5800 RPM).

Bisa minta tolong berapa VIN-nya (Vehicle Identification Number) ... biasanya ini ditempel diruang mesin.

soalnya kalo corona absolute di indo kan ST 191

Sebenarnya untuk FRAME ST195-AEPMK, standard mesinnya adalah 3S-FE. Jika ditemukan 3S-GE rasanya udah diganti (swap). Jika tutup valve berwarna merah ... Generasi Awal 3S-GE sedang bila tutupnya Hitam dari Generasi terakhir sebelum berubah menjadi 3ZZ-GE yang juga dilirik oleh LOTUS ELISE.

Dibawah ini salah satu TUNED HEADER untuk 3S-GE Generasi Awal.

muffler:HKS titanium.
kabel busi NGK power cable.
Busi: NGK Iridium
XCS Hurricane ver 2,0
Gound wire: Arospeed<dari air filter sampe Ground Wire aku yg masang Om>
kl top speed,kmrn aku coba di tol mentok 240,at 7200,speedonya 260,limiternya 9000.

Bung Danny nie ada-ada saja ... orang udah nyampai top speed 240 kpj ... mau berapa lagi ... mentok ke 260 kpj ?

Beruntung banget dapetin corona dengan 3S-GE yang powernya udah 200 - 210 HP hingga dapet top speed 240 kpj. Kalau mau dapetin 260 kpj ... mesti tambah power ... paling gak 50 to 60 HP. Atau mau nyoba Max Power-nya ada di 7600 - 7800 RPM ?

Header 4-1 tetap dipertahankan ... hanya diperpendek dan diameternya dibesarin. Secara indicative ... untuk setiap pembesaran diameter pipa utama sebesar 1/8" (3.2 mm) akan menggeser Peak Torque (resp. for Peak Power shifting) sebesar 400 - 600 RPM.

tengkyu banget om atas penjelasannya,aku gak bisa bayangin kalo di SM gak ada orang2 yg seprti Om penyu,hehehe
yg sekarang modelnya yg two pieces,nah kalo aku ganti dgn yg one pieces lbh bagus mana hasilnya om?yg 1 pieces ato yg 2 pieces krn aku pengin peak torquenya n max powernya di 7800 RPM,kl HP nya prnah aku dyno test yaitu 190 HP,trus mo nanya tentang masalah BBM,aku sll isi dengan pertamax plus,tp kl sdng "tong-pes"aku isi dgn premium biasa tp aku campurin cairan penaik oktan merk BARDAHL,mesin gak knocking,apakah itu ada efek negatifnya Om?thanx bgt!
