berita ini saya kutip dari tabloid otomotif 27 Nov 2006, HKS menunjuk satu perusahaan sebagai agen tunggal resmi yakni Sumber Berkat Group, "pengalaman SBG sudah 30 tahun dalam memasarkan produk otomotif dan punya networking luas jadi alasan kami " kata Hiroyuki Hasegawa pendiri sekaligus insinyur HKS jepang

produk sementara HKS mengelauarakan :

-Muffler untuk mobil yang dipasarkan di Indo
-Pelumas HKS Super Turbo Racing SAE 10w-40 Partially Synthetic 4Litre@Rp 350.000

tapi aku baca di Otomotif... disebut kok nama beliau itu... Yakob sebagai Brand Manager atau mungkin maksudnya Branch manager ya ??

Bung Reyner, jeskoneng sudah slesai di operasi (PnP dan enjin balans) oleh bengkel AMS..... lalu sudah remap Unichip versi terbaru oleh Pak Soleh Sigma, menurut print-out hasil dyno, tertera 137 HP dan 164 Nm

Memang cukup mantep karena kan engine balance di RPM 7500, lalu cam gear distel ulang, valve seating juga dimodif supaya bukan klep lebih lama gitu kalo gak salah, lalu brake pad juga ganti Endless street use, dan brake liners Goodridge, busi diganti Varso, air filter ganti model open air... Yang kurasakan, kalo biasanya mau kick-down harus injek pedal gas dalam2, sekarang injek setengah aja udah langsung ganti posisi gigi, mobil meraung dengan kejam... tarikan cukup oke.. Yang masih terasa kurang adalah di RPM atas, kok rasanya harusnya bisa lebih ringan lagi... Mungkin masih mau modif di saluran gas buang, dan masih nyari light weight pulleys untuk alternator dan kompresor AC...

Cukup menyenangkan kok... tarikan awal menyentak... tadi siang di tol cikampek sampai Starbuck km 19, jarum spido sempat menyentuh angka 182 kpj (mungkin bisa lebih, blum tau, karena kondisi traffic tidak memungkinkan untuk gas pol terus), tapi mungkin bukan topspeed itu yang signifikan, yang terasa banget adalah akselerasinya cukup memuaskan.... Boleh kapan2 di-test sama Lancer Evo-nya Om Bram hehehe....

tapi saya kagum ama bos frontier, karena benar-benar tekun dalam tuning jazznya dan satu lagi karena punya dia matik yang notabene lebih rumit untuk upgrade performance. saya angkat topi :e-clap:

progress report : kayaknya Ko Apin di AMS punya parts khusus untuk merubah gear ratio, sehingga bisa menambah ganas tarikan bawah Jeskoneng yang pake velg 16"..... Tapi mau masang masih nunggu ada dana nih.....

om jeskoneng, minta masukan donk buat memperbaiki mesin idsi ku gimana ya? uda ga tahan ama leletnya kalo lari...

buat rubah gear ratio namanya VTRC bikinan last station ...

tp feature ini bisa didapetin di unichip type Q , kalo uda pake type Q ngga perlu lg ... krn cvt yg kontrol ratio`nya cuma berdasarkan voltase aja ...

Hehehehe..... Bung Reyner, gimana ini kawan kita gak tahan sama leletnya iDsi.... VTEC aja masih kurasakan agak2 lelet.... hehehehe........ iDsi nya dipasangi HKS Turbo aja kah ? Atau enaknya kawan kita ini diajak ke bengkel AMS atau Sigma atau Lestari Motor aja ?

Kan pada dasarnya mesin iDSi diciptakan untuk efisiensi BBM dan torsi di bawah 3000 rpm dan VTEC untuk performance di atas 3500 rpm (walau menurutku masih sangat kurang memenuhi hasrat ya...)

oh ya just FYI Jeskoneng hari ini dipasangi rubahan final gear yang lebih cocok untuk velg 16".... Besok kelar, mungkin ada yang mau nemenin test performa ?

gw ada baca. turbo itu sendiri masih diriset oleh pihak HKS. low boost 0.5 bar. ntar dibuat untuk Swift juga gitu

0.5 bar (7.35 psi) ... udah cukup gede ... nambah 70 HP .... Gw dulu pakai 0.3 bar - 0.4 bar udah cukup lumayan.

Risetnya makai turbo apaan yaah ? ... Mitsu apa Garett ?
