Well, memang sgt disayangkan pilihan pelumas buatan dalam negeri di Indonesia yg benar2 berkualitas sgt terbatas......ini semua disebabkan iklim investasi kita yg kurang kondusif sehingga pengusaha cenderung memproduksi produk2 yg turnover-nya cepat dimana kebanyakan adalah kelas Low end / ekonomi.

Berbeda dengan Thailand dimana PTT sudah sampai level memproduksi oli Full Synth 0W-30 API SN dan 5W30 Full Synth Heavy Duty Diesel ACEA E-4 atau Petronas dengan Syntium 5000 / Urania Masimo.........ane aja ampe ngiler ngeliatnya.

Why ? karena Pemerintah Thailand sangat melindungi produk buatan dalam negeri Thailand, sehingga industri lokal bisa tumbuh hebat.

Gile, mosok API service nya pada mulai dari angka 0???? Kira2, apa gunanya yaa API dari angka 0 untuk iklim hot? Apalagi Thai itu khan panasnya ngajubileh bener tuuuh!?!
hmm mungkin ane di sini masi newbie soal perolian bro :big_slap:

Setelah baca2 artikel di bobistheoilguy.com 90% keausan disebabkan gesekan ketika mesin masih dingin karena viskositas olinya masih kental.. sedangkan ketika suhu mesin sudah panas (90-100 derajat C) maka oli kekentalannya optimal untuk melindungi mesin (viskositas 10). Saat cold start up nah rata2 oli kan kental sehingga belum maksimal melindungi mesin.

Kekentalan pada 100 derajat C:
1. Oli dg rating straight 30 memiliki kekentalan 10 <- Optimal
2. Oli dg rating straight 10 memiliki kekentalan 6 <- terlalu encer
3. Oli multi grade dg rating 10w30 memiliki kekentalan 10 <- Optimal
4. Oli multi grade dg rating 0w30 memiliki kekentalan 10 <- Optimal

Kekentalan pada cold startup 24 derjat C:
1. Oli dg rating straight 30 memiliki kekentalan 250
2. Oli dg rating straight 10 memiliki kekentalan 30
3. Oli multi grade dg rating 10w30 memiliki kekentalan 100
4. Oli multi grade dg rating 0w30 memiliki kekentalan 40

Nah kalo dilihat dari kekentalan pas start di 24 derajat kan kelihatan oli grade apa yg paling oke melindungi mesin hehehe

btw ane mo tanya... jadi sebenernya antara oli yg 10W-30 ama 10W-40 tuh utk cold start mana yg lebi encer ??

Sama2 encernya, kan sama2 10W. Kalo kondisi panas baru encer yg 10W-30. mohon kalo salah bang zombiee aja yg ditimpuk............... :ngacir:

kemaren jalan2 di ACE liat2 oli nemu ada oli TOTAL buat diesel, hargaya sekitar 200rbuan. pengen coba juga nih oli. hehehe. bis kok kyknya oli yg skrg ane pake udah gk enak aja ya, masih 4.000an km.

broo.. logikanya, klo mesin diesel model kyk panther, dikasih oli yang heavy duty buat kendaraan berat, gk masalah kan ya?
buat mesin heavy duty kerja berat aja ok apalagi mesin kendaraan penumpang ya.

biasanya meskipun heavy duty/kendaraan berat, biasanya sih kerjaannya cenderung stabil, misalnya rpm relatif rendah dan konstan
beda dgn kendaraan penumpang/niaga yg rpmnya variatif dan teknologi mesinnya kadang beda

maksud ane bukan supaya nambah 20 ps kalo pake oli heavy duty, tapi kalo mesin heavy duty denganbeban kerja berat fine aja apa lgi mesin mobil penumpang pasti lebi protection lagi. gitu sih broo maksud ane.. :mky_01: :mky_01:

IMHO ini hanya strategi marketing aja m4r. Rata2 oli mesin diesel terkenal mencantumkan tulisan kyk heavyduty dikemasnnya, demi menarik minat. Karena mmg dari sononya sebenernya mesin diesel itu digunakan untuk heavy duty, jadi ya wajar2 saja.
